Folgende Entschließung zum Thema Palliativmedizin wurde bei der E.A.N.A.-Sitzung am 1.12.08 in Montreux verabschiedet

„Die E.A.N.A. fordert mit Nachdruck, die palliativmedizinische Versorgung in die multidisziplinäre medizinische Versorgung einzubeziehen. Die palliative Versorgung muss allen europäischen Bürgern unabhängig von sozialen und wirtschaftlichen Faktoren zur Verfügung stehen. Die palliativmedizinische Versorgung sollte in Zusammenarbeit mit der Familie des Patienten und dem behandelnden Arzt erfolgen.“

E.A.N.A. strongly supports palliative care. All European citizens should have the right to palliative care. It should be available regardless of socioeconomic factors, in collaboration with the patients family and family doctor.

E.A.N.A. donne la priorité aux soins palliatifs. L´accès à ces soins doit étre garanti à tout citoyen européen indépendamment de toute considération socio-économique dans le cadre d’une prise en charge multidisciplinaire incluant la famille et le médecin traitant du patient.
