EANA'S PROPOSALS FOR AN AMBITIOUS E-HEALTH POLICY

EANA's proposals for an ambitious e-health policy
EANA ( European Council of Liberal Medicine ) convened in General Assembly in Basel on 16-17 June 2017, wishes to ensure the development of e-Health in Europe and calls for the implementation of the following principles :
- Cross-border interoperability of systems is a must for obtaining significant data on research and health policy
- The security and confidence of all users must be ensured , in particular by means of interdisciplinarity, interprofessionality and transversality
- The confidence of health professionals requires the creation of a viable and transparent economic model
- Evaluation of e-Health and m-Health devices is essential to garantee safety of patients and quality of care
- The training of doctors and the accompaniment of patients to e-Health must enable the active collaboration of all actors
